Warranty

Reconditioned lift. New-lift guarantee.

We rebuild every stairlift ourselves, so we know exactly what we're standing behind: 2 years of parts and labour cover on every reconditioned lift we install, at no extra cost. Here's the plain-English version of what that means.

✓ What's covered

All mechanical and electrical faults — motor, gearbox, PCB boards, sensors, switches
Parts and the labour to fit them — no hidden callout charges for warranty work
The rail, carriage, seat and controls — the whole installation as fitted
Remote controls supplied with the lift

✕ What's not

Batteries — they're wear-and-tear, like tyres on a car (they typically last 2–3 years and are inexpensive to replace)
Damage from misuse, accidents or unauthorised tampering with the lift
Cosmetic wear — a reconditioned lift may carry the odd mark from its first life
Faults on lifts serviced or repaired by someone else during the warranty period

Keeping the warranty valid

One condition, and it's a sensible one: the lift needs its annual service each year, by us or another qualified stairlift engineer. That's standard across the industry — a serviced lift simply doesn't break down much, which is the whole point.

Warranty on repairs & parts

Outside of a lift purchase, our repair work carries its own cover: 30 days on labour and a full year on any new parts fitted, for issues directly related to the repair.

After a service

If your lift breaks down within 3 months of one of our annual services with a genuinely new fault, the callout and labour to fix it are free — parts charged separately.

Making a claim couldn't be simpler.

Ring us, describe the fault, and we'll arrange the callout — usually within 24 hours. No forms, no fuss.
